Personal Brand Poster

This was a personal project I wanted to design something that felt like it could actually be printed and displayed, not just something that looks good on a screen. The concept was built around the phrase "Strength Begins With Self," and I wanted the design itself to carry that energy, not just the words. The most challenging part was the photo treatment. I converted my own photo into a high-contrast halftone illustration so it would sit inside the type without fighting it that took a lot of back and forth in Photoshop to get the tonal range right so the figure stayed readable against the heavy typography. The layered type running behind and in front of the figure was also intentional, to create depth and make it feel more like a real printed piece than a flat graphic. I printed the final design on foam board, and seeing it come off the screen and into a physical format was the real test the colours held up, the type was sharp, and it looked exactly how I imagined it. That print result confirmed the design worked at full scale.
